Ants communicate to each other via scent trails. When one ant discovers a food source he lays down a trail that invites other ants to join the party, these ants in turn strengthen the scent trail. This video is an example of when the communication system fucks up. Ants also practice war, slavery, agriculture, life stock husbandry, health care, sanitation, architecture, thermal regulation, moisture regulation, airflow regulation. I love ants. I want to marry an ant. I hope one day the human race will see the error of its ways and merge into the ever growing ant population.
